Completed in 1902 to be the residence of Ermelino de Leão Junior family's, the building witnessed the herb mate economic cycle, one of the most prosperous periods of the Paraná state economy, and is now listed as a historical heritage. Today is a cultural center run by the Regional Development Bank of South Region (BRDE).
